Easy, cheap, pretty healthy, and a good source of protein.
- Can of chickpeas
- 2 tbsp plain flour
- Herbs, such as parsley
- Chili powder (1 tsp)
- Cumin (1 tsp)
- Blend the chickpeas, flour, onion, garlic, herbs and spices. Season with salt and pepper.
- Shape into patties with your hands.
- Heat some oil in a pan then fry the falafel on each side for 3 minutes
- Serve. It goes well with quinoa tabbouleh, as in the photo
